How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically arrives within 5–7 business
days after processing. Expedited 2-day shipping is available
at checkout for domestic orders. International orders generally
arrive within 10–14 business days, depending on customs.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all domestic (US) orders over $75. This discount is automatically applied at checkout.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your experience. We accept returns on unopened and unused items within 14 days of delivery. To start
a return, please contact us at hello@moodsandmoments.studio
with your order number. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship to select international destinations. Please note that international customers are responsible for
all customs duties, taxes, or import fees incurred at the border.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order is curated and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number
and carrier details.
What type of wax do you use?
All our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax. Soy wax burns cleaner, longer, and more evenly than paraffin with no toxins released.
Are your candles toxin-free?
Completely. We never use paraffin, lead wicks, phthalates, or harmful synthetic additives. Every fragrance is phthalate-free and skin-safe.
How long do your candles burn?
Our candles are designed for 50+ hours of burn time when properly cared for.
Are the fragrances safe around pets?
Our candles are formulated to be pet-friendly. We recommend good
ventilation when burning around animals.
Why is the first burn so important?
On your first burn, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar. This prevents tunneling where wax builds up on the sides and burns unevenly.
How often should I trim the wick?
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every burn. This prevents mushrooming,
black soot, and excessive flickering.
When should I stop burning my candle?
Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains. The jar can then be cleaned and repurposed.
My candle arrived damaged — what do I do?
Email us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we will send a replacement at no cost, no questions asked.
Can I exchange a scent I don't love?
If your candle is unopened, we're happy to exchange it for a different scent within 14 days.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes! We love partnering with boutiques, spas, and event companies. Contact us with your business details and order volume.
Can you create custom candles for events or weddings?
Absolutely. We offer personalized labels, custom fragrance blends, and curated gift sets. Reach out at least 4 weeks before your event.
Do you offer corporate gifting?
Yes, we work with companies for client gifting and brand activations.

Shipping & Processing
When will my order ship?
We curate each order with care. Most orders are processed
and shipped within 3–5 business days. During peak seasons
or collection launches, please allow up to 7 business days
for your order to be prepared for transit.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location. We currently offer standard
shipping via USPS and UPS. You will receive a tracking number
via email as soon as your label is created.
Summer shipping & heat sensitivity?
Because our candles are toxin-free and handcrafted with natural waxes, they are sensitive to extreme heat. During summer months June–September, we typically ship orders on Mondays, Tuesdays,
and Wednesdays to prevent your package from sitting in a hot
carrier warehouse over the weekend.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States. We hope to bring
our moods and moments to international destinations in the
near future.
Missing or stolen packages?
Once a package is marked as Delivered by the carrier, Moods & Moments is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We
recommend shipping to a secure location or workplace if you are concerned about package safety.
